This is my journey; the one that took place during a global pandemic. I was evacuated from Milan, Italy abruptly in 2020 at the beginning of Covid. I was forced to quarantine for two weeks in a room, receiving meals at my door everyday, and having to experience natural sunlight through the crack of my window. I had to abruptly adjust my process; from knitting my senior thesis collection on studio machines and exploring the city I was beginning to call home, to scavenging for materials and searching for ways to complete my collection in a room in Long Island, NY. This video captures these difficult, yet raw moments of my artistic process.
